Course Purpose

    Develops and provides practice of skills related to working with percentages; calculating income and payroll taxes; establishing financial goals; preparing and revising a budget based on personal choices; creating spreadsheet calculations for personal short-term savings to be added to the budget; creating spreadsheet calculations for personal long-term investment to be added to the budget. Focuses on preparing the student to make personal financial choices.
