Course Purpose

    Engages in the study of patterns and organization of our world at the atomic level. Students will have the opportunity to conduct research and communicate their understanding in writing, presentations, and informational graphics. Focuses on the study of predicting the behaviors and interactions of matter and energy that make up our elegant universe. Concepts covered include reactions, balancing, stoichiometry, pH, solutions, hydrocarbons, calorimetry, gas laws, and nuclear chemistry.
