| U.S. Government A is the study of the structures, processes, and issues of national, state and local government. The goal of this class is informed, responsible participation in political life by competent citizens committed to the fundamental values and principles upon which our American society is based. In the end, a free society must rely on the knowledge, skills, and virtue of its citizenry and elected officials.
