Course Purpose

    Surveys the vast expanse of the animal Kingdom. Focuses on the field of Biology that deals with animals and their life, including the study of structure, physiology, development, and classification of animals. Covered topics include invertebrate animals (sponges, flatworms, roundworms, mollusks, arthropods, echinoderms, and cephalopods) and vertebrate animals (fish, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals).
